The typical precision of a surface grinder depends on the type and usage, however ±0.002 mm (±0.0001 in) should be achievable on most surface grinders.'HI-LIFE' Cylindrical Grinding Machines have been designed to cater customer requirements of high accuracy, productivity and reliability of performance. The typical precision of a surface grinder depends on the type and usage, however ±0.002 mm (±0.0001 in) should be achievable on most surface grinders.A Hydraulic circuit for surface grinder consists of a pilot operated DC valve that decides the direction of flow of pressurised fluid and a double acting cylinder with double piston rod. The piston rod on both sides are mechanically coupled with the table of the machine.
