Using the electric controls, the user can adjust the head and foot of the bed, but the height of the bed must be adjusted manually as it would be with a manual bed.A semi-electric hospital bed is a bed that has electronic function of elevating the head and the leg portions, but the overall height (ground to mattress) must be adjusted manually (with a crank). The pendant has 4 buttons: one pair to operate the head spring and the other pair to operate the foot spring.
