Manual hoists, also known as Chain Pulley Blocks, are a proven solution for heavy load management. Widely used across industries with lifting needs, this product works on the principle of a chain coiled on two wheels in chain blocks.Also known as chain blocks or chain pulley blocks, chain hoists are used extensively to move heavy loads through chain pulling. While most chain hoists are operated by hand, lever blocks (or ratchet lever hoists) are operated by pulling a manual lever either forward or backward.a pulley with depressions in the periphery of its wheel, or projections from it, made to fit the links of a chain.here are three types of pulleys, namely, fixed pulleys, movable pulleys, and compound pulleys. Fixed pulleys are those pulleys that are attached to a single point. As the name suggests that this pulley is stationary and is fixed to support like wall or ceiling and the rope/chain passes through it.
