Product Details
K2 ULTRAFIX is a high-strength, highly polymer-modified cement-based tile adhesive specially formulated for fixing heavy-duty tiles and natural stone on internal and external wall and floor surfaces. Its excellent bonding strength, flexibility and waterproofing characteristics make it suitable for demanding tiling applications. Designed for convenient application, K2 ULTRAFIX requires only mixing with clean water and offers good workability during installation. It can be applied over suitable concrete, cement screed, and cement or lime mortar substrates. The deformable formulation helps accommodate thermal and physical movement while maintaining strong adhesion. K2 ULTRAFIX can be used for various types of tiles and natural stones, provided the substrate and tile are not sensitive to moisture. It can be applied at approximately 6–12 mm thickness, with a coverage of around 23–25 sq. ft. per 20 kg bag at 6 mm thickness, depending on surface condition and application thickness. The adhesive does not require curing or soaking of tiles, helping simplify the installation process and improve productivity. Floors can generally be used after approximately 24 hours, subject to site conditions and proper application.
