The Level Switch KPN is designed to detect levels in tanks, for mediaseparation and provide empty-pipe detection or can be used for dry-run protection forpumps. This type of Level Switch ha smolded cable. So it can be used for submersible applications also.The standard cable length is 0.5 meters, but we can offer it as per teh client's requriements also.It gives PNP digital output.A high frequency sweep signal is radiated from the sensor tip into thetank. The media will act as a virtual capacitor, which together with acoil in the sensor head, will form a circuit creating the switch pointsignal. This virtual capacitance will depend of the di-electric value DK(Di-electrical Constant) of the media.
