The KTR ROTEX® GS 38 Conical Coupling is a torsionally flexible, backlash-free shaft coupling designed for precise torque transmission with vibration damping. Built on the proven ROTEX® principle, the GS 38 conical hubensures easy installation, compact size, and high reliability. This coupling is widely used in servo drives, machine tools, automation systems, CNC machinery, pumps, and compressors, providing accurate torque transmission, misalignment compensation, and high dynamic performance. Features Backlash-free power transmission through preloaded elastomer spider. Nominal torque capacity: up to 160 Nm (GS 38 typical). Max speed (RPM): up to 25,000 rpm depending on bore & spider hardness. Compact conical hub design → quick mounting & secure fit. Torsionally flexible with vibration damping → protects connected machines. Misalignment compensation: axial, radial, and angular. Customizable spiders (elastomer elements): Shore hardness 80 ShA, 92 ShA, 98 ShA for different damping/torque needs. Available in multiple materials: aluminium, cast iron, steel, stainless steel. Material of Construction Hubs: Aluminium (lightweight servo), Cast Iron (standard), Steel (high strength), Stainless Steel (corrosion resistant). Spider (Elastomer): Polyurethane (TPU) in different Shore hardness grades (80 ShA – flexible; 92 ShA – standard; 98 ShA – high torsional stiffness).
