Lee Linear Custom Precision Shafting Shafting
60 Plus linear shafting made from high carbon C1060 steel provides the highest machinability of case hardened and ground steel shafting. LEE LINEAR manufactures 60 Plus shafting using proprietary processes with the newest technology in heat treating. Throughout the entire process, care is taken to maintain straightness, roundness, and surface finish.
LEE LINEAR Ready Shafts are available in C1060 and 440C linear shafting, and in diameters from 1/4 to 1-1/2 inch. Ready Shafts offer immediate delivery of a precision linear shaft that is cut to length, chamfered, straightened to within 0.002 inch per foot, a surface finish of 8 to 14 Ra, and packaged in a VCI plastic sleeve to prevent corrosion.
440C shafting is chosen by customers for its corrosion resistance, as well as its high quality. LEE LINEAR manufactures 440C Shafting using proprietary processes with the newest technology in heat treating. Pre-Drilled shafting from LEE LINEAR is comprised of both 60 Plus and 440C

LEE LINEAR Composite Plain Bearings, self lubricating or ceramic linear/rotary bearing technology delivering high load capability (5000 psi) coupled with low friction (0.09–0.12). Designed as an alternative for linear ball and roller bearings where high loads, washdown, shock/vibration, or contamination may be present. Self Lubricating bearings do not require lubrication and have a low coefficient of friction (0.09–0.12), while the ceramic bearing requires lubrication at a slightly lower coefficient of friction (0.04–0.08).
