The Magnetic Pulley is an industrial strength magnet which provides a dependable means of tramp metal extraction on conveyor belt applications. The permanent magnetic forces protect your capital equipment, increase up time, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure highest product purity.A Drive Pulley or Head Pulley is used for the purpose of driving a conveyor belt. They are normally mounted in external type bearings and driven by a motor and reducer. Conveyor head pulleys can be flat faced or crowned and many have lagging to reduce belt slippage.It usually drives the conveyor and often has a larger diameter than other pulleys. For better traction, the head pulley is usually lagged (with either rubber or ceramic lagging material). Tail and wing pulleys. The tail pulley is located at the loading end of the belt.
