A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly to control some or all electric motors in a central location. It consists of multiple enclosed sections having A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly to control some or all electric motors in a central location. It consists of multiple enclosed sections having a common power bus and with each section containing a combination starter, which in turn consists of motor starter, fuses or circuit breaker, and power disconnect.MCC means MOTOR CONTROL CENTRE (As You know). It is used to control motor feeder. PCCmeansPOWER CONTROL CENTRE(As You Know). It is used toPower feeder. Generally, MCC feeds from the PCC panels, These include PLC, VFD, fuses, switches; transformers and many other necessary components which are must to control the voltage of current for the smooth and hassle free performance of your device. On the other hand, MCC stands for a motor control panel, which consists of feeder for motor and blower.Motor Control Center or Substation where motor will be powered. PLC/DCS : Control System, where Motor can be controlled as per logic (Auto) or as per operator action (Manual). LCP : Local Control Panel which is installed in the field, near motor in which start, stop push buttons are available.
