Its primary function is to simulate the mechanical stresses an appliance cord's anchorage (the point where the cord enters the product) is subjected to during normal use, ensuring it remains safe and secure. Key Functions and Description Mechanical Strength Evaluation: The equipment is designed to check the quality of the cord anchorage, which is essential for relieving strain on the internal terminals. Pull Force Test: It applies a controlled tensile force (pull) along the axis of the cord. This test confirms that the cord will not detach or pull out from the appliance under the forces it might experience in real-world scenarios, such as accidentally pulling on the cord.
