Noun. : an oven comprising one or more horizontal circular tables on a vertical axis that turns so that work can be introduced at one radial position and removed at another after heat and rotation have completed the process.Designed with a turntable, industrial electric rotary ovens move materials in circular motions inside the heat chamber. As the process picks up pace, the hearth can be rotated on a continuous basis, manually and with the help of an indicator.Modern diesel-burning units have a system which uses a small pressure pump to atomise the fuel, creating a fine mist which is then introduced into the combustion chamber where it is ignited. The heat then passes through a heat exchanger to warm up either water or air, and this is circulated through the boat.The rack is a rotary oven that is ideal for when larger quantities of the same product are being baked. A deck oven usually uses a stone sole and has an easily regulated top and bottom heat distribution control.
