Molecular Sieve 4A beads are an alkali metal aluminosilicate zeolite with a 4-angstrom pore opening, designed to selectively adsorb molecules smaller than 4Å (such as water, CO2, nitrogen, and oxygen) while excluding larger molecules, making them excellent general-purpose desiccants and drying agents. "Mil-grade" refers to a quality or specification, often found on military or defense contracts, and while 4A molecular sieves are widely used in industrial drying, specific performance requirements would determine if they meet certain MIL-SPECS.
