Monoblock pumps are a centrifugal pump in which fluid enters suction port and agitated inside the impeller and discharged through the large or small volute casing based on the head & discharge requirement (high speed monoblock or slow speed monoblock) Working principle.Mono means single, as its name suggests Monoblock Horizontal Multistage Pump is a non-self-priming centrifugal pump. This means that the Pump unit is rigidly connected i.e. attached with long shaft electric motor. The compact structure renders small size of pump; axial inlet and radial outlet.Mono pumps are specially designed for industrial applications, with the Mono Progressive Cavity Pump capable of pumping sewage, non-aggressive chemicals, diesel and vegetable oils. This particular pump is ideally suited for applications such as cess pit level control and pumping ground up sewage.
