In layman's terms, an Iron removal filter is that kind of filter that removes iron from the water. These are designed for removing the excess iron content present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. It helps to treat the hardness of water by removing minerals and making the water soft.Air injection process uses oxygen to convert the solid, undissolved contaminants to particles that can be filtered by a granular media. Iron removal systems are an effective, affordable way to filter out iron, sulfur, manganese, and other insoluble contaminants.A FOB Iron and Sulphur Filter system draws air in through its air intake, by way of an advanced electronic control valve to form an air cap within the top of the media tank. In everyday use, water is sprayed through the air cap to begin oxidizing the iron and sulphur out of the water.
