As an automatic system built by APPL, it operates on a three phase power supply at 415 V AC. By using those systems, the plant keeps the diameter of the filaments consistent plus ensures the material is resistant to breaking. There is very little material that becomes waste during long periods of operation. Due to the automated controls, operators do not need to intervene often. For the same reason, it is easy to change settings and the machine maintains a specific amount of tension during winding. On every spool the yarn is uniform in quality. With a structure that is strong and heavy, the plant remains functional for long periods. If maintenance is required, the process is simple because the power handling is stable. When operators set up the machine or look for faults, they use an interface that is easy to understand but also provides clear data.
