Designed for use with LATICRETE 73 Crete Admix to produce high strength adhesive for fixing all varieties of small to large format tiles and stones.LATICRETE 4237 HIGH PERFORMANCE LATEX ADMIXLATICRETE 4237 Latex Admix is a specially designed High Performance Latex additive for use with LATICRETE 111 Crete Filler Powder to make high strength thin bed adhesive. It is suitable for installation of all types of ceramic tile, vitrified tile, natural stone & agglomerates. It has superior bond strength & is flexible and also highly resistant to shock & impact.These features make it a premium choice for installation of tile & stone in high demanding areas such as external facades, industrial floor, high traffic areas etc.Coverage:Approx. 55-60 sq. ft per 5 ltrs, mixed with 20 kg bag LATICRETE 111 Crete Filler Powder  Adhesive using a ¼" x ¼" 6mm x 6mm square notch trowel for a bed of 3 mm.Certification:• ANSI: A118.4, EN 1348 or ISO 13007 for C2TES1• ISI: TYPE 2 ADHESIVE• VOC: NilAdvantages:• Superior bond strength• Flexible and shock & impact resistant• Rated for extra heavy traffic conditions.• Proven versatilitySubstrate:The surface to be covered with tile stone shall be sound and confirm to good design, rigid, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, form release agents or loose plaster and paint. For economy the surfaces should be level and true within:Walls 3mm in 2.5mFloors  1.5mm in 1.0mNote:1. The Gypsum wall board shall be fixed as per the manufacturer's guidelines. Ensure the gaps between two adjoining boards are treated with a filling material or tape so that the adhesive is not allowed into the joints.2. Gypsum wall board is not a suitable substrate for exterior tile installation or interior areas subject to constant water exposure.3. The joints between two Gypsum wall boards should be continued through to the top of the tile. At no point of time, tiles should be installed directly on the joints.Surface Preparation:a) Ensure the surface of Gypsum board is clean and free from impurities like dust, dirt, debris, oil, grease, curing agents, loose  plaster etc.b) Dampen lightly, the surface before application of thin set adhesivec) Clean the back of tile stone for any dust or coating.Mixing:The products can be mixed by hand or slow speed electric drill mixer less than 300 rpmPour LATICRETE 4237 in a clean container and then add the powder LATICRETE 111 and mix until the mixture becomes creamy and plastic. Do not over mix. Leave the mix to slake for 5-10 min and remix before use. Mix only sufficient quantity of adhesive for immediate need.Proportion: Approximately 1 bag of LATICRETE 111 with 5.5 ltrs of LATICRETE 4237. Adjust quantity of liquid to obtain proper consistency.Installation:Wet the surface and remove the excess water before applying the adhesive. Ensure the area is shaded from sunlight. The adhesive shall be applied with the flat side of the trowel using a scraping motion to work the material into good contact with the surface to be covered. Additional mortar is then applied with the notched edge of the trowel.When installing large tiles stones, spread adhesive onto back of tile in addition to trowelling material over surface to be tiled. Select proper type of notched trowel.
