LATICRETE® 111 Crete Filler Powder is a factory prepared blend of carefully selected raw materials, portland cement and graded aggregates. Designed for use with LATICRETE® 73 Crete Admix to produce high strength adhesive for fixing all varieties of small to large format tiles and stones.LATICRETE® 73 is a Latex Crete Admix mixed with LATICRETE® 111 Crete Filler Powder / Adhesives to form tile setting beds. Tile setting adhesives made with LATICRETE® 73 Crete Admix provide increased flexibility, stronger bond and compression strength when compared with conventional portland cement mortars. This increased bond strength is especially vital when installing semi and fully vitrified tiles, quarry tiles, pavers and other ceramic floor and wall tiles used in highly critical areas such as external facades, industrial plants, swimming pools and heavy traffic areas. Also provides longer potlife & working time in hot weather conditions.LATICRETE® 73 RAPID CRETE ADMIXLATICRETE® 73 Rapid is a specially designed Latex Crete Admix for use with LATICRETE® 111 Crete Filler Powder to make high strength, rapid setting latex fortified thin-set adhesives. Suitable for installation of all types of ceramic tile, industrial tile, natural stones and agglomerates.Coverage:Approx. 55-60 sq.ft. per 20 kg bag using a ¼" x ¼" (6mmx6mm) notch trowel for a bed of 3mm.Certification:• ANSI: A118.4, EN 1348 or ISO 13007 for C2TES1• ISI: TYPE 2 ADHESIVE• VOC: NilAdvantages:• Two component to be mixed with LATICRETE® 73 / 4237 Latex Admix• Exceeds ANSI A 118.4 / 11 & ISO 13007 for C2TES 1• High strength formula & Ultimate Flexibility• Ideal for external facades and underwater applicationsSubstrate:The floor/wall surfaces to be covered with tile/ stone shall be sound and confirm to good design, rigid, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, form release agents or loose plaster and paint. For economy the surfaces should be level and true within :Walls – 3mm in 2.5mFloors – 1.5mm in 1.0mSurface Preparation:a) If a plaster/leveling mortar bed is applied, ensure that it is cured for at least 7 days to achieve proper strength before application of tile adhesive for installation of tile.b) Ensure the substrate is clean and free from impurities like dust, dirt, debris, oil, grease, curing agents, loose plaster etc.c) Dampen the floor/ wall before application of thin set adhesived) Clean the back of tile/ stone for any dust or coating.Mixing:The products can be mixed by hand or slow speed electric drill mixer (less than 300 rpm).Pour LATICRETE® 73 latex admix in a clean container and then add the powder LATICRETE® 111 until the mixture becomes creamy and plastic. Do Not Over mix. Leave the mix to slake for 5-10 min and remix before use. Mix only sufficient quantity of adhesive for immediate need.Proportion: Approximately 1 bag of LATICRETE® 111 with 5-6 ltrs of LATICRETE® 73. Adjust quantity of liquid to obtain proper consistency.Installation:Wet the floor/ wall and remove the excess water before applying the adhesive. Ensure the area is shaded from sunlight. The adhesive shall be applied with the flat side of the trowel using a scraping motion to work the material into good contact with the surface to be covered. Additional mortar is then applied with the notched edge of the trowel.When installing large tiles, spread adhesive onto back of tile in addition to trowelling material over surface to be tiled. Select proper type of notched trowel.
