It is a LiFePO4 battery (lithium iron phosphate), so its internal technology has all the advantages inherent in the latest generation lithium batteries. The Nexus 4.8kWh lithium battery is of high energy density and light weight compared to other batteries in the market with similar technical characteristics.48V lithium-ion battery is made by combining multiple lithium cells by connecting them in series and parallel, because the efficiency and life of the battery is not very good if the manufacturing of a single cell is a 48v lithium battery.The 48V system powers an electric blower motor in the e-charger to overcome this lag at low RPMs. The combination of these two systems allows for a smooth power curve and allows for the use of smaller more fuel efficient engines.
