Oxygen Index / Temp.Index Test Equipment (OIT-351) is crucial for assessing the flammability of materials. It measures the minimum oxygen concentration needed to support combustion and evaluates the ignition and flame spread characteristics under controlled temperature conditions. IS 10810-64, IS 10810-58Oxygen Index / Temp.Index Test Equipment Model No.OIT-351 Theory : Oxygen index is the measurement of oxygen content at which the vertically held sample when ignited ceases to burn off its own within 3 minutes. This is a relative measure of combustion resistance of materials in the context of atmospheric oxygen. Temperature Index is the temperature at which the vertically held sample ceases to burn off on its own within 3 minutes at an Oxygen concentration of 21% i.e. atmospheric air.  These tests are generally carried out as specified in ASTM-D-2863 Standard.  Standard method of test for inflammability of using the Oxygen Index Method ) having easy sample loading & ignition system and direct read-out of the critical oxygen index to a high degree of accuracy. It eliminates operator error & calculations.  Provided with Indian Analyser.  Oxygen,Nitrogen cylinder & their regulators are not provided with the equipment.  Note: Indian sensors used in analyser have life of max. 2 years & after every 1.5 year, you have to replace sensor at additional cost of Rs. 30000.00 whereas paramagnetic sensor have life span of more than 15 years.
