Product Details
The Digital Melt Flow Index Tester measures how fast melted plastic flows, a key step for checking plastic quality. A built in temperature unit holds the heat within 0.1 percent of the target and shows changes as small as 0.1 degree, up to 400 degrees Celsius. The kit supplies two hard chrome weights, one at 2.16 kg plus one at 5 kg - the user places the chosen weight on the melt to copy different load situations. A digital timer counts the test seconds and sounds a buzzer when the set time ends. The frame has a powder coated finish but also sits on a bench, ready for lab or factory work. The shipment adds a die, a piston and cleaning sticks so the operator prepares each sample as well as clears the barrel after every run. The unit is built in India and meets ASTM D1238 and ISO 1133 rules for melt flow rate tests.
