These pans are also widely used to sugar-coat tablets. A coating pan is an essential requirement in pharmaceutical applications.Sugar coating is a complex multistage process which comprise of six different steps. These steps are sealing of the tablet core, sub coating of the core, then smoothing, colouring, polishing and then the final printing.The terms "roll cater" and "roller cater" mean the same thing: automatic machines that coat one or both sides of a flat substrate - metal, wood, glass, fibreboard, foam, or plastic - with precisely controlled thicknesses of coating material as the sheets are conveyed down a production line.Here, we'll describe the benefits and trade offs of four of the most common generic coating types: Epoxies, polyurethanes, Polynesians and zinc-rich primers, providing examples of how each might be used in a total coating system.Coatings are varied, but primarily fall into three categories: Architectural, Industrial, and Special Purpose.Coatings are specified as organic or inorganic according to the nature of their binder.
