The conveyor systems are based on a close-fitting, multiflex plastic chain conveyor that gives a straight, horizontal and vertical running capability. Tight horizontal bends allow routing close to machines, saving floor space.Plastic modular belt conveyors feature interlocking plastic links that are chained together to form a belt, similar to chain mail. This construction provides a high degree of flexibility, allowing the conveyor belt to bend around sharp corners, incline, and decline, and even spiral as needed.Chain conveyors are used for moving products down an assembly line and/or around a manufacturing or warehousing facility. Chain conveyors are primarily used to transport heavy unit loads, e.g. pallets, grid boxes, and industrial containers. These conveyors can be single or double chain strand in configuration.A chain conveyor operates on the principle of interconnectivity: a chain connects each gear, resulting in a smooth conveying process. The chain conveyor has a series of gears connected into a continuous system by the chain. Typically, each gear has teeth which create a free rotational interface with the chain.Conveyor chains come in a variety of sizes, such as Standard Roller Chain, Double Pitch Roller Chain, Case Conveyor Chain, Stainless Steel Conveyor Chains – C Type, and Nickel Plated ANSI Conveyor Chains.
