Product Details
Polycab Solar DC Cables are high-performance conductors specifically engineered for the DC side of photovoltaic (PV) installations. Core Technical Features Conductor: Utilizes electrolytic grade (99.99% pure) multi-stranded tinned copper (Class 5 as per IEC 60228) to provide superior conductivity and prevent corrosion in outdoor environments. Insulation & Sheath: Made from XLPO (Cross-Linked Polyolefin) which is halogen-free and flame-retardant (LSZH). Resistance: Highly resistant to UV radiation, ozone, hydrolysis, and extreme weather. Operating Temperature: Rated for a wide ambient range of -40°C to +90°C, with a maximum conductor temperature of 120°C. Voltage Rating: Designed for a nominal voltage of 1500V DC, with a maximum permitted voltage of 1800V DC.
