The lift travels one metre each second - a ride from one floor to the next finishes quickly. Respected Sir, Thanks for your enquiry. 1500-1600 mm deep Pit required in traction type elevators but if you have no space to dig pit you may prefer for hydraulic elevator. in hydraulic elevator we need 400 mm deep pit. if not able to provide 400 mm lift will rest 300 mm above at ground floor. regards Dharam Engg.and elevators pvt ltd.
