Shell Core Shooter Machines, Automatic Shell Core Shooter Roll Over Type, Top Shooting Type Shell Core Shooters. A shell core is produced using a sand mixture pre-coated with a resin. The sand mixture is poured or blown into a pre-heated core box. The outside layer of the core is hardened when the sand mixture comes in contact with the heated core box. The core is formed by a thin, hard "shell". Thus the name "Shell Core".The CDRX Shell Core Machine uses “under-aeration” sand filling technology in which the sand becomes easier to move by fluidity, improving filling in small areas and density of the sand to produce a better, stronger core.Phenolic Esters Cold Box systems (ECP) - Ester-cured phenolic cold box process uses two components; a resin and a curing agent.
