It provides protection against wind, rain, fire and theft.A roller shutter door is a door constructed from many individual steel or aluminium horizontal slats and operated by rolling the slats around a barrel directly up or down with the assistance of either a spring or an electric motor (or both) and guides either side to hold the curtain secure in place.The door rolls up around the tube which is fitted above the door and in the case of tube motor roller shutters, this tube is also what is running the operation, using electricity to move the door up and down.Rolling shutter is a method of image capture in which a still picture (in a still camera) or each frame of a video (in a video camera) is captured not by taking a snapshot of the entire scene at a single instant in time but rather by scanning across the scene rapidly, vertically, horizontally or rotationally.Rolling shutter delivers absolute lowest read noise and is best used for very fast streaming of data (> 50 fps full frame) without synchronization to light source or peripheral device. However, it carries risk of spatial distortion, especially when imaging relatively large, fast moving objects.
