This variety is also one of the most popular flatbreads served in almost any and every Indian restaurant, across the globeTraditionally, this rumali roti is made using plain flour, milk and salt. To make this recipe flavourful, the dough is kneaded using butter/oil and then rested for 1 or 2 hours to let it rise.Roomali Roti has a funny story of origin that dates back to the Mughal Era. it is said that during Royal meals, this bread was used as a handkerchief to wipe off excess oil from the food.
