The Tyco Bowthorpe EMP SC13 (often branded under TE Connectivity or Raychem) is a specialized surge counter and monitoring instrument designed to track the performance and health of medium to high-voltage surge arresters. Unlike the basic SC12 model, the SC13 features a built-in analogue milli-ammeter to measure the total leakage current of the arrester.Key Technical SpecificationsThe SC13 features a 6-digit cyclometer, triggers at a minimum current of 200 Amps (), and withstands up to 100 kA (). It includes a bilinear 0–30 mA analogue meter (0-50 mA on the SC13L variant) and is self-powered.
