The Siemens LME series is a line of microprocessor-based burner controls used for the startup and supervision of single-stage or two-stage gas or gas/oil burners. They are the modern, electronic successors to the older LGB and LMG series. 1. LME Models The LME series is highly modular. The specific model number determines whether it supports a brushless DC (BC) motor, a remote reset, or specific timing. Key Functional  Multicolor LED Indicator: The reset button changes color to communicate status: Green: Operation, flame OK. Yellow: Startup phase/Ignition. Red: Fault/Lockout. Flashing Red: Error code (count the flashes to diagnose). Flashing Orange: Communication mode (using OCI400 interface). Air Pressure Supervision: Functional check of the air pressure switch during startup and operation. Undervoltage Detection: If the voltage drops below approx. 175V AC, the controller prevents startup or initiates a safety shutdown. 4. Fault Code  When the LME goes into a red "lockout" state, you can hold the reset button for >3seconds to enter the error code mode. The LED will blink a specific number of times: Blink Code Meaning Potential Cause 2x No flame at end of TSA Defective valves, no fuel, or dirty electrodes. 3x Air pressure failure Air switch stuck, fan motor failure, or clogged intake. 4x Extraneous light Flame detected before the sequence starts. 7x Flame loss during operation Unstable gas pressure or dirty sensor. 10x Wiring/Internal error Short circuit in output or defective controller. 5. Terminals & Mounting The LME uses the standard AGM terminal base (same as the LGB series),  Terminal 1: Phase/Live. Terminal 2: Neutral. Terminal 3: Burner motor. Terminal 10: Remote reset.
