The Siemens QRA53.E27 is a high-performance UV flame detector designed specifically for continuous operation in industrial oil and gas burner systems. Unlike standard sensors, it features a self-checking mechanism (shutter) to ensure the UV cell is functioning correctly during long-term firing. This shutter periodically interrupts the UV radiation to test the cell's responsiveness, which is mandatory for burners operating for more than 24 hours without a shutdown Compatible Burner Controls: Specifically designed for use with Siemens burner control units like the LGK16 and LGI16. Protection: It features a quartz-glass window to protect the UV cell and shutter from dirt and heat. Accessories: It typically requires an AGM19 connecting cable and is often supplied with a mounting clamp. It can be mounted directly on the burner or via an AGG06 glass holder/ AGG16 adapter for cooling air. Applications Supervision of gas flames. Monitoring of yellow or blue-burning oil flames. Ignition spark proving. Suitable for "green fuel" blends (e.g., hydrogen-oil mixes).
