The Siemens QRA75.A27 is a high-sensitivity ultraviolet (UV) flame detector specifically engineered for continuous operation (more than 24 hours of uninterrupted firing). It is widely used in industrial burner systems to monitor gas flames, yellow/blue-burning oil flames, and to verify ignition sparks. Like the QRA53, it features a self-checking shutter mechanism to ensure the UV cell is always functional. (The QRA73 is the equivalent long-tube version at 125 mm). Control System Integration: Specifically designed for use with Siemens LMV5... and LME75... burner management systems. Cable Connection: It uses the AGM23 (standard) or AGM23U (US design) connecting cable, which is distinct from the AGM19 cable used by the QRA53 series. Common Accessories AGG16.C / AGG16.U: Right-angle adapter (used to mount the sensor at a 90° angle to the viewing port). AGG06: Glass or quartz-glass lens holder (to protect against heat and increase sensitivity). 419988060: Mounting clamp (usually included). Important Installation Warning Electrical Safety: Before replacing or servicing the UV cell, you must isolate the power supply completely. The shutter mechanism is driven by an internal stepper motor; ensure the cable is seated correctly to prevent signal loss during the self-check cycle.
