ENERGY COMBUSTION, Ahmadabad supplying all types of Siemens make Flame Sensors. The Siemens QRA10M.C is the high-sensitivity version of the industrial QRA10 series. It is housed in a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum casing and is designed for intermittent operation (systems that cycle at least once every 24 hours). While it shares the same physical build as the standard QRA10.C, the "M" designation indicates it is equipped with a more sensitive UV cell, making it suitable for applications where the flame signal might be weak. Because the QRA10M.C is highly sensitive, it is often used in situations where the detector must be mounted further away from the flame or where the viewing path is partially obstructed. QRA10.C (Standard): Uses the AGR4 502 1131 0 cell. QRA10M.C (High): Uses the AGR4 502 4065 0 cell (same as the QRA2M). Features & Installation Cooling Air: Includes a lateral 1/8" tapping for cooling air, which helps keep the lens clean from soot and prevents the internal electronics from overheating. Mounting Coupling D: This threaded socket is usually supplied with the unit and allows it to be screwed directly onto a 1" viewing tube or attached to a ball head (AGG07). Interference Warning: High-sensitivity sensors are even more susceptible to false signals from ignition sparks, welding arcs, or X-rays. Proper shielding and aiming are critical to prevent "simulated flame" lockouts. Compatible Burner Controls The QRA10M.C works with most Siemens control boxes, but its high sensitivity signal often requires specific auxiliary modules for compatibility: Direct Connection: LFL, LAL, LGI16, LGK16. With Adapter (AGK30/AGQ1): LFS1.2, LME series, LMV2/3. Maintenance Note: The UV cell is a consumable item with a lifespan of roughly 10,000 hours. If you notice the burner failing to detect a flame that is clearly visible, the UV tube likely needs replacement.
