A Single Phase Ultrasonic Welding System is an industrial machine designed to weld thermoplastic components using high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations powered by a single-phase electrical supply. This system is ideal for small to medium-scale production environments where three-phase power is not available. It produces strong and reliable plastic joints without the need for adhesives, screws, or solvents. The system works by converting electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations through an ultrasonic generator and transducer. These vibrations are transferred through a booster and welding horn to the plastic parts placed in a fixture. When ultrasonic vibrations and controlled pressure are applied simultaneously, friction at the contact surface generates heat, causing the plastic to melt and fuse together. After the vibration stops, the molten material cools under pressure, forming a durable and permanent weld. Single phase ultrasonic welding systems commonly operate at 15 kHz, 20 kHz, frequencies with power outputs ranging from 1000W to 3000W, depending on the application and material type. The machine typically features adjustable parameters such as welding time, pressure, and amplitude to ensure consistent welding quality.
