A PMB/CRMB Modified Bitumen Plant is a specialized industrial facility designed to blend conventional bitumen with polymers or recycled crumb rubber. This process creates high-performance binders that drastically improve the durability, elasticity, and temperature resistance of asphalt used in modern road construction, highways, and airport runways. ⚙️ How It Works: The Production Systems Modified bitumen plants generally operate using one of two primary setups, depending on the scale and required output: AMT Techno +1 Inline One-Pass System (Continuous): Best For: Large-scale commercial requirements. Process: Raw bitumen and the modifier (polymer or crumb rubber) are continuously fed and dosed automatically via a PLC control panel into a premixing tank. From there, the mixture is pumped directly through a high-shear homogeniser to ensure microscopic particle breakdown and flawless blending in a single pass. Batch Type System: Best For: Smaller setups, specific customized recipes, or lower budgets. Process: Bitumen and modifiers are weighed and fed into larger tanks (often ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 litres).
