SCD 30 - a novel and eco friendly way to address the needs of small scale food processing industries. The salient features include:Hygienic drying.No color degradation due to UV rays. Uninterrupted year round operations with bio gas, LPG or electric backup. Lower running costs hence higher savingDescription of DrierCasing (Drying chamber) : The drying chamber is made of double walled fabricated casing with 50 mm PUF insulation. Inner wall of casing is made of SS 304 and outer wall with M.S. coated finish.Size of chamber : 1000 W x 1100 D x 1200 HTrays : Perforated SS 304 sheets or SS wire mesh – size 600 x 900 x 25Quantity - 10 NosHeating : Hot Air from solar Air Heating Collectors is forced into the Chamber by 0.5 HP Centrifugal Blower.Air heater Collectors : Each air collector is of size 2 M x 1 M and 4 collectors can be arranged in par-allel / series configuration as per availability of space. This hot air is taken as inlet air into the chamber.Air Circulation : One Centrifugal fans provides the air circulation inside the chamber.Electric Control System : The Electrical backup heaters can be controlled automatically by a tem-perature controller. The Exhaust ports can be manually operated by closefit baffles.Time of drying and output : The time of drying and specific weight of each product varies consider-ably.
