This box protects your solar.DCDB stands for Direct Current Distribution box and is installed between the solar panels and the inverter. This box protects your solar inverter and panels from high voltage and short circuits.A 3kW system is typically made up of between 8-12 solar panels (depending on the quality of the panels), using an area of around 15-20m2. A 5kW system is usually comprised of 15-20 panels, so the total rooftop area needed for a 5kW system is around 25-35m2.ACDB full form is AC Distribution Board or AC combiner box and DCDB means DC Distribution board or array junction box. Solar acdb mostly install after the solar inverter but before connected load or LT panels.
