A baghouse, also known as a baghouse filter, bag filter, or fabric filter is an air pollution control device and dust collector that removes particulates or gas released from commercial processes out of the air.Bag filters use microfiltration to purify liquids. This process works when the liquid flows through small, permeable pores, capturing debris and sediment in the bag filter as it passes through. The size of the contaminants removed depends on the micron size of the pores.The four primary types of filters include the low-pass filter, the high-pass filter, the band-pass filter, and the notch filter (or the band-reject or band-stop filter).
