Mechanical Properties: AISI 304: Offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and high strength. Tensile strength: 515 MPa, Yield strength: 205 MPa, Elongation: 40%. AISI 316: Provides superior corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments, and increased strength due to the presence of molybdenum. Tensile strength: 580 MPa, Yield strength: 290 MPa, Elongation: 50%.
