Galaxy FD-T Model Lyophilizer (Freeze Dryer) – Advanced Top-Press System for Reliable Laboratory Freeze Drying The Galaxy FD-T Model Lyophilizer is an advanced freeze-drying system designed for precise and consistent moisture removal in sensitive biological, pharmaceutical, and chemical samples. Built with an 8-port manifold and top-press drying chamber, this model combines versatility and control, making it ideal for research labs, biotech startups, and academic institutions. The FD-T features a 0.12 m² drying area with 4 removable trays and a top-press design that enhances drying uniformity. Its powerful vacuum pump achieves vacuum levels of ≤5 Pa, while the cold trap reaches temperatures as low as -60°C, ensuring effective sublimation and preservation. The unit supports a total loading capacity of 1.6 liters, with each tray accommodating up to 0.8 liters of liquid. Engineered for ease of use, the FD-T offers a full-color touchscreen interface that displays key data such as vacuum, sample and condenser temperatures, and runtime. Its intelligent data logging system allows for USB export to Excel, simplifying documentation and compliance. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials with a transparent acrylic chamber, the FD-T is durable and easy to monitor during operation. It features electric defrosting and an air-cooled system for energy-efficient performance. The 8-port manifold allows simultaneous drying of multiple samples using standard flasks.
