Crompton Greaves (CG) offers the 15 kW (20 HP) motor in their Apex Series (IE2) with two distinct speed configurations: a standard 4-pole version and a high-torque 8-pole version.1. 4-Pole Motor (1440 RPM) - This is the standard general-purpose industrial motor, typically used for pumps, fans, and compressors where moderate speed and balanced torque are required. Model/Frame: ND160L Speed: 1440 RPM (Synchronous speed 1500 RPM) Efficiency: ~88.0% to 88.5% (IE2 Class) Mounting: Available in Foot (B3), Flange (B5), or Foot-cum-Flange (B35) 2. 8-Pole Motor (750 RPM)- This version is designed for high-torque, low-speed applications such as heavy conveyors or specialized machinery. Because of the higher number of poles, the frame size is significantly larger to accommodate the extra windings. Model/Frame: ND200L Speed: 750 RPM Efficiency: ~88% (IE2 Class) Mounting: Foot (Standard).
