Description
The Thrie -Beam type safety barrier consists of a steel post and a 3mm thick 'Thrie' Beam rail element. The steel post and the spacer are 75mm x 150mm and 5mm thick segments. Each post is spaced 2m apart, while the rail sits at 85cm off the ground. The design also meets MORTH and IRC specifications.Guardrail barriers provide semi-rigid protection to shield motorists from hazards located close to the edge of the road. A typical guardrail system consists of a steel W-Beam rail on steel posts with various designs of end treatments and transitions made from the same material.Crash barriers are designed to withstand the impact of vehicles of certain weights at certain angle while traveling at the specified speed. They are expected to guide the vehicle back on the road while keeping the level of damage to vehicle as well as to the barriers within acceptable limits.
