Through-Conduit Knife Gate Valves (TCKGVs), also widely designated as O-Port type valves, are heavy-duty, bi-directional wafer or full-flange valves engineered specifically for severe-service isolation. Unlike standard knife gate valves, a through-conduit valve utilizes a specialized, continuous O-port plate gate that passes completely through the bottom of the valve body. This architectural configuration provides an unobstructed, full-bore flow path matching the pipe diameter, completely eliminating internal cavities, pockets, or grooves where solid media can accumulate, settle, or pack.Designed primarily for highly concentrated or high-consistency process media, these valves provide precise cutting, high-shear force closing, and absolute shut-off across bidirectional pressure cycles.Continuous O-Port Blade Mechanism: The gate consists of a finished metal plate containing a precision-machined circular aperture (the O-port). When the valve moves to the fully open position, this aperture aligns precisely with the pipeline bore. When closing, the solid portion of the plate moves into the flow path, forcing the media down and out through the bottom seal area.Dual-Seat Cavity-Free Design: Most premium through-conduit valves utilize a double-seat construction. Because the gate travels out through the bottom of the body, the internal flow path remains perfectly flush. This prevents media compaction—a common failure point in conventional bottom-pocket gate valves.Wiping & Self-Cleaning Motion: As the gate translates between the open and closed positions, its faces maintain constant contact with internal sliders (often made of High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene, or HMWPE) and the primary seals. This permanent wiping action mechanically scrapes and cleans the gate surfaces on every single stroke.

• Self-cleaning gate: It features a gate that extends completely through valve body. When valve opens “O-Port” aligns perfectly with pipeline offering smooth flow of media. When the valve is closed, the gates shut off the flow while the ported section exits from bottom of the valve- this way it self-cleans the valve

• Size range: 100 mm to 600 mm (Higher sizes on request)

• Excellent sealing: The seals used offers excellent sealing and various options available to choose from Metal to metal to soft sealing (including EPDM, Viton, PTFE, rPTFE etc.)
