The Pizon CCMT 09T308 MRT2 MR2000K is a positive-rake carbide turning insert optimized for cast iron (K-group) and general turning on CNC lathes. The MRT2 chip-breaker ensures stable chip control in finishing to medium cuts, while MR2000K grade provides high wear resistance and edge strength for dry or MQL machining of gray and ductile iron. Key Features ISO Geometry: CCMT (80° diamond, 7° relief) for low cutting forces and clean surface finish. Size 09T308 with 0.8 mm corner radius for stronger edge in medium cuts and better blend on shoulders. MRT2 chip-breaker designed for consistent chip flow and reduced built-up edge in cast iron. MR2000K grade (K-material focus): tough, wear-resistant substrate with multi-layer coating for long tool life in abrasive irons. Dimensional stability for repeatable offsets and reduced setup time. Works well dry; compatible with flood coolant or MQL per job needs.
