Roots blowers provide constant supply of oxygen to these ponds to enable the higher production of fishes/shrimps as compared to natural breeding of these organisms. These blowers are installed near ponds and farms and transfer oxygen to the bottom.Roots blower is a kind of positive displacement pumps. The impellers, which keep a film-thin clearance between each other, rotate in the casing without contacting each other to transfer the gas from the suction end to the discharge end through the inner periphery of the casing.Roots blowers are used to aerate raw sewage and industrial organic waste. The aeration drives the digestion of the waste by microorganisms. Roots blowers are also used for grit tank cleaning, filter flushing, backwashing and the recovery of gases.
