Manual tire changers often require more time and effort but provide greater control over the process. Bead Breaker: One of the key components of a tire changer is the bead breaker, which separates the tire's bead (the part of the tire that is tightly attached to the rim) from the rim. In manual machines, the bead breaker is operated using a lever or foot pedal. Tire Demounting and Mounting Tools: The machine is equipped with manual tools like tire levers, mounting heads, and mounting bars to help the operator remove or install the tire onto the wheel. These tools can be used to pry the tire away from the rim and secure it back in place. Adjustable Mounting Head: Manual tire changers have an adjustable mounting head that helps in positioning the tire onto the rim. The head often includes a clamping mechanism to hold the tire in place during the mounting process.
