The 10pcs/lot Laser Nozzle Single/Double Layer Dia.28mm Caliber 0.8‑5.0 for WSX single-layer nozzle designed for WSX laser cutting heads is a precision consumable part used in industrial fiber laser cutting machines. A single-layer nozzle has one thin wall, and its main job is to guide the auxiliary gas (usually nitrogen or air) directly onto the cut area, helping to blow molten material away and protect the focusing optics while ensuring a clean, smooth cut. Made from high-quality copper (often with chrome plating), the nozzle is durable and designed to dissipate heat effectively during cutting. Its caliber (opening) ranges from about 0.8 mm up to 6.0 mm, letting operators choose the right size for different material thicknesses and cutting speeds. In practical use, a WSX single-layer nozzle is ideal for melting and cutting with nitrogen or air as the assist gas, especially when cutting stainless steel, aluminum, brass and other non-oxidizing metals.
