Parboiling Plant are used for Boiling of Raw Paddy to Make Par-Boiled or Boiled Rice. It consists Parboiling Tanks, Elevators, High Pressure Fan, Dryer, Heat Exchange, Pipelines, Valves, etc.Parboiling is done in three steps: Soaking, steaming and drying. Parboiling causes a flagellation of the starch during the boiling and during cooling the amylase molecules re-emaciate with each other and form a tightly packed structure.
