A 1000 Lph Uv System For Water Treatment cleans water - destroying bacteria, viruses and other microscopic organisms. The lamp inside the steel chamber emits short wave light that breaks the DNA of those organisms so they cannot reproduce. A quartz sleeve surrounds the lamp plus lets the light pass through while keeping the lamp dry. If the lamp stops working, an alarm alerts the operator. To keep the unit working at full strength, the sleeve needs a wipe every few months and the lamp needs replacement once a year. The unit ships new but also in stock - it operates as soon as a plumber connects inlet and outlet pipes. Engineers from established companies build each unit with stainless steel housings as well as electronic parts selected for continuous duty. The result is a compact device that delivers an even flow of microbiologically safe water for homes, small factories or laboratories.
