Product Description
It uses unique lamps to emit light of a wavelength between 240 to 280 . These ultraviolet light rays are used to kill microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, cysts, etc. A UV water purifier kills the unsafe water with UV light.UV water purification systems purify water by using ultraviolet rays to kill microorganisms present in the water. UV rays completely kill water-borne microorganisms and prevent their reproduction by disrupting their DNA. Also, UV rays do not lead to chemical changes in the water.An Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system transfers electromagnetic energy from a mercury arc lamp to an organism's genetic material (DNA and RNA). When UV radiation penetrates the cell wall of an organism, it destroys the cell's ability to reproduce.
