ERNiCrMo-10, also known as Alloy C22, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum filler metal (wire or rod) used in welding to join high-performance nickel-based alloys like Hastelloy and Inconel, and to clad steel with nickel alloys. It is known for its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress-corrosion cracking, making it suitable for demanding applications in industries such as chemical processing, petroleum, and power generation where exposure to corrosive media is a concern. Key characteristics: Composition:A balanced nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Corrosion Resistance:Exhibits excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing environments and is particularly strong against pitting and crevice corrosion. Versatility:Used for welding similar Ni-Cr-Mo alloys and for dissimilar joints between these alloys and stainless steel or carbon steels.
